SOS Tyre is an official ADAC partner

In brief

SOS Tyre is an official ADAC partner. ADAC is the German automobile club, one of the largest in Europe. For you, it is a concrete credential: on the other end of the phone is a Milan-based operator with a name, an address and partnerships you can verify. SOS Tyre remains an independent company: you don’t need to be an ADAC member to call us. 24/7 tyre assistance: +39 377 326 0999.

Who is ADAC?

ADAC (Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club) is the German automobile club, one of the largest in Europe. Its services include roadside assistance for members, including when they travel abroad, Italy included.

Milan is one of the most popular destinations for people driving from Germany and Northern Europe: for work, for trade fairs, for tourism or passing through on the way to the sea and the lakes.

Thousands of ADAC-contracted call-outs

SOS Tyre has thousands of ADAC-contracted call-outs behind it, carried out by our own team in and around Milan. That is hands-on experience of what someone stranded with a flat tyre, often far from home, actually needs: an immediate answer, a clear idea of where they are, a technician on site and getting back on the road.

ADAC has authorised SOS Tyre to use its logos.

What SOS Tyre being an ADAC partner means for you

It means you can choose an operator with an official partnership with a major European automobile club, not a number picked at random. In the tyre assistance market you often end up talking to portals or middlemen who pass your call on to someone you don’t know: with SOS Tyre you know who answers and who turns up.

  • A name and an address: SOS Tyre, Via Enrico Cosenz 63, Milan.
  • A partnership you can verify, not a slogan.
  • A public reputation: 4.9/5 on Google with over 260 reviews.

The service you receive is SOS Tyre’s own: 24/7 tyre assistance, on-the-spot repairs when safe, wheel changes, and an average arrival time of 30 minutes.

Do I need to be an ADAC member to call SOS Tyre?

No. SOS Tyre is an independent company and helps anyone with a tyre problem in Milan, its province and the neighbouring provinces. Call +39 377 326 0999 or message us on WhatsApp: we’ll tell you straight away whether and when we can get to you.

I’m an ADAC member with a flat tyre in Italy: what should I do?

Follow the instructions for your ADAC cover. For breakdowns abroad, ADAC tells its members to contact its international emergency centre (Auslandsnotruf, +49 89 22 22 22) or to use the ADAC app: the centre then arranges the assistance provided for by your cover.

ADAC also recommends relying only on recovery services dispatched through the centre, and being wary of anyone who turns up unprompted claiming to act on the club’s behalf. What is covered, and on what terms, is set by your ADAC membership, not by SOS Tyre.

What the partnership is not

We prefer to be clear, because that is part of how trust is built:

  • it is not exclusive and does not make SOS Tyre part of ADAC: we are an independent company;
  • it does not mean our work is free of charge: any cover depends solely on the member’s ADAC membership;
  • it is not a guarantee on every job, nor an ADAC certification of our work.

What we can guarantee is the way we work: here’s why to choose SOS Tyre.

Help for drivers travelling from abroad

The SOS Tyre website is also available in English, German, French, Spanish and Chinese, and the online assistance request can be filled in in your own language: your GPS location, vehicle, problem and photos reach our team in just a few steps.

If you are driving a hire car, read the rental company’s instructions first: flat tyre on a hire or company car.
