What data we process and why
- Assistance requests (phone, WhatsApp, “Request assistance” page): location, address, vehicle details, description of the problem, tyre size, any photos, name and phone number. Purpose: handling the request and the job. Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures and of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Technical browsing data needed for the website to work (hosting server logs). Legal basis: legitimate interest in website security (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Analytics (Google Analytics 4), only if you give consent via the banner. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time from “Cookie preferences” in the footer.
GPS location
Your location is read by the browser only if you tap “Use my current location” and allow it. It is included in the message that you choose to send us: the website does not store it.
If you contact us via WhatsApp, the message passes through the WhatsApp service (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.), subject to its own privacy policy.
Retention
Request data is kept for as long as necessary to handle the job and to meet legal obligations.
Recipients
Technical providers acting as data processors (hosting, any tools used to receive requests, Google for analytics if you consent). Data is not sold or used for advertising profiling.
Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, and object to processing (Arts. 15–22 GDPR) by contacting the controller at the details above. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, garanteprivacy.it).
