Which neighbourhoods of Municipio 7 do we cover?
We cover the whole of Municipio 7, Milan's western sector from Piazzale Lotto out to the city boundary. The main areas are:
- De Angeli and Bande Nere, residential neighbourhoods along the red M1 line.
- San Siro, with the stadium and the racecourses.
- Selinunte, around the square of the same name.
- Forze Armate and Baggio, along via delle Forze Armate heading west.
- Quarto Cagnino, Quinto Romano, Figino and Muggiano, at the far western edge, partly bordering the countryside.
Which streets and landmarks can you use?
The main roads are via Novara, via delle Forze Armate, via Washington, via Rembrandt and via Harar. Other useful landmarks:
| Landmark | Area |
|---|---|
| San Siro stadium (Giuseppe Meazza) | Piazzale Angelo Moratti |
| San Siro racecourse | Next to the stadium, Piazzale dello Sport area |
| Piazza De Angeli | M1 stop |
| M5 stops | Segesta, San Siro Ippodromo, San Siro Stadio |
| Ospedale San Carlo Borromeo | Via Pio II, towards Baggio |
| Parco delle Cave | Between Baggio and Quarto Cagnino |
Via Novara is the road leading to the Tangenziale Ovest ring road: tell us whether you're still in the city or already on the slip road.
Have you had a puncture during a match or concert at San Siro?
On event days at the stadium, tell us straight away if you're inside an area closed to traffic or in an event car park. During matches and concerts there may be closed roads, temporary no-parking zones and large crowds of people and vehicles around the stadium.
- Tell us the car park or the exact street and a landmark, such as a stadium entrance or an M5 stop.
- If the area is fenced off, tell us whether you know a nearby spot reachable by car.
- If you've just come out and traffic is heavy, stop somewhere safe and wait: don't try to drive out on a flat tyre.
We set off as soon as you call and tell you on the phone straight away when we'll arrive, taking into account any event closures.
What should you do if you stop near the Tangenziale Ovest?
On the ring road, stop on the hard shoulder, put on your high-visibility vest and stay behind the crash barrier. From Municipio 7, via Novara leads to the Tangenziale Ovest.
- Switch on your hazard lights and pull over onto the hard shoulder or into a lay-by.
- Put on your high-visibility vest before getting out, and get out on the crash-barrier side.
- Place the warning triangle only if you can do so safely, then stay behind the barrier.
- Call us on +39 377 326 0999 with your direction and the last junction; if you're in danger, call 112.

Are you in a hospital car park or a residential garage?
In the car parks of large facilities and in underground garages, describe the way in to us, because GPS is often unreliable.
- For Ospedale San Carlo or a sports centre, tell us which car park and which entrance.
- For residential garages in De Angeli, San Siro or Baggio, tell us the ramp, level and garage number.
- Tell us how to get in: barrier, remote, pass or concierge.
We also work indoors when there's room to work safely; see our mobile tyre fitter.
How does SOS Tyre work in Municipio 7?
We come out straight away, 24/7, to wherever the vehicle is: cars, SUVs, motorbikes and vans. We assess the damage and, if technically possible, repair the tyre on the spot; otherwise we fit the spare wheel or space-saver.
On SUVs and cars with large wheels it helps to know the tyre size, which you'll find on the sidewall: replacement with a new tyre needs to be checked on the phone depending on size and availability. Call +39 377 326 0999.
Frequently asked questions
Do you come out to the San Siro stadium car parks after a concert?
Yes, SOS Tyre operates 24/7 in the San Siro stadium area too. On event days there may be closed roads and heavy traffic as crowds leave: tell us the car park, an entrance or a nearby M5 stop, and whether the area is fenced off. We set off straight away and tell you on the phone when we'll arrive.
Do you also cover Figino and Quinto Romano, on the western edge?
Yes, Figino, Quinto Romano, Quarto Cagnino and Muggiano are part of Municipio 7 and the Comune di Milano, so we cover them like the rest of the city; beyond the boundary we also work in the towns to the west. In areas with farmsteads or poorly signposted roads, share your GPS location on WhatsApp.
I've stopped on via Novara heading for the ring road: what do I do?
If you're still in the city, pull over somewhere safe, switch on your hazard lights and call us with the house number. If you're already on the ring road, stop on the hard shoulder, put on your high-visibility vest, get out on the crash-barrier side and stay behind the barrier. If you're in danger, call 112.
I got a puncture in the Ospedale San Carlo car park: can you come?
Yes, if access to the car park is allowed and there's room to work safely. Tell us which car park and which street the entrance is on, the space or section and the vehicle model. You can also share your GPS location on WhatsApp.
